Excluding a Result Period

For various reasons, users may wish to exclude a result period from the Analytics Suite. For instance, if end of semester results have been entered and the user does not wish for these to be visible to parents and students just yet, they are able to exclude the result period from view.

  1. Select Administration from the top of the left-hand task panel.
  2. Select Subject Setup, followed by Subject and Period.
A list of the result periods will now appear in the table.
  3. Select the result period using the green arrow on the left-hand side of the table.
  4. Click the edit icon corresponding to that row.

5. There is the option to exclude the period for teachers, parents and/or students.

6. There is also the option to specify when the period should become available again.
Note: If choosing to specify a date on which the period should become available, do not tick the Exclude check box. Simply enter the day and month into the relevant fields.

7. Click Update to finish.

  4. Click Add Exclusion.

5. Select the subject from the drop-down menu.
Note: The user can type the subject description into the search bar (shown below).

6. Specify whether this subject should be excluded for all year levels, or a specific year level.

7. Click Add Exclusion.
The subject will be automatically excluded from all result periods.
