Results for all reporting periods will automatically display in the Learning Analytics Suite (where there are schemas set up to understand the results).
Further management of result periods can be done within the Suite through the Result Period Maintenance screen.



The Learning Analytics Suite pulls through the available result periods directly from your Student Information System. 

You can then control certain features within the Suite, such as:

  • Result period naming
  • Result period ordering
  • Staff/Parent/Student access
  • Subject Weightings


  1. Go to Administration > Period Setup > Period Management.

  2. Select New.



  3. Select the Reporting Year and Reporting Period.

  4. Enter your preferred Friendly Result Period Name which will display throughout the Suite.



  5. Enter the Period Order number, ie. how does this particular result period fit within the order of this result year?
  6. If the period is an Interim Reporting Period, tick the 'Reporting period is an interim reporting period' box and enter the corresponding Reporting Period # in the Superseding Period(s) field.

  7. Manage the display of each result period results for Teachers, Parents and Students.

    To exclude the reporting period results from a user group, tick the 'Permanently exclude reporting period' checkbox.

    To display the report period results after a certain date, enter the Day and Month:


Note: Repeat these steps for each Result Period. If they are not yet all set up in your Student Information System, you can return to this screen periodically throughout the year to add the additional periods.





Extra Information


  • If you do not manually add a Result period, the display of the period will defer to the Default Access Rules:



  • If you wish to exclude the display of results from a particular result period completely, go to Admin > Period Setup > Period Filtering and add the result period there.



  • If you have set up the integration of continuous periods, extra controls exist there to hide, or 'suppress' result periods which will override these settings.
