This document provides a summary of some of the work the TrackOne Studio development team have worked on recently. We have tried to include only those that are of interest to the majority of schools. Minor changes, or custom development affecting only a single school, have not been included.

New developments and improvements:

Subject Linking

Some workflow improvements have been made when setting up ew subject groups by pre-filling the search field with subject title to help identify potential subjects to include. A 'select all' checkbox has also been added.

Schema Subject Exclusion

A new field has been added to Overall Result schemas to allow subjects to be excluded from using the schema.

This is required where multiple schemas are set up, referencing different objective codes, and where a subject has a result for both objective codes. In this case, the Suite will average these results.
Now users can associate a subject with one schema and exclude it from the other so that no averaging occurs.

Incidents filtering

There are two extra drop down menus to filter by 'Incident Group' and 'Incident Type' in the Incidents Summary screen and also on an individual students 'Incident' tab, allowing you to drill down a little more in the incident data.

Permissions text changes

There is a significant amount of control around what users have access to through the Role permissions. We have made some text updates to provide more clarity around what each permission point controls.

Subject Weightings

Additional help text has been added to the set up screen to better explain the onscreen tools/icons regarding how to manage weightings for subjects.

Continuous Results Integration

Edumate schools can now use the full continuous results area within the Suite and integrate progressive task results into various areas throughout the Suite. Refer to the guide for more information: Continuous Results Display in TrackOne

Course mark

The secondary subject result, termed 'Targeted Mark' or '*Achievement Level' in the Suite, now displays in the Subject Leaders report in addition to the Subject result.

Class Markbooks

For schools syncing results in from Schoolbox or Canvas, the Markbook exports now include the Calculated Overall Subject Results and any saved Moderated Overall Subject Results.

Pastoral results have also been included in the various exports.

Class Summary

The Student details pane now freezes when moving to the right of the screen, making it easier to track whose data is in view.

General fixes

  • Class Summary: displays soft-linked subject results correctly
  • Class Summary: displays behaviour results with decimals where decimal results exist instead of rounding
  • Class Summary: displays continuous result text as per the continuous schema Display Text selection
  • Scheduled alerts: displays the correct classes for period selection
  • Incident Summary: expands the details for the selected student correctly (rather than jumping to a different student)
  • Assessment Schedule: respects the permission point
  • Absences: hides the 'Notes' column as per permission point
  • Behaviour Analysis Chart: reflect each schools preferred terminology, as set up in 'Application Features and Display Options'
  • Growth Tool and Comparison Tool graphs: display the hover text results in x,y format instead of y,x format
  • Awards: the selected awards generation options are saved for future runs, rather than being forgotten with each run
  • Incidents exports: includes the reporting teacher's name
  • Schoolbox sync: updated our sync program to cater for changes made within Schoolbox
