When moving to a cloud-hosted Schoolbox, the connections with TrackOne will need to be updated and tested. These are the initial steps to follow.


  1. School to obtain the following details from Schoolbox:
    • SSH Connection Details 
      • SSH Host
      • SSH Port
      • SSH Username
      • SSH Key, not encrypted
    • MySQL Connection Details
      • MySQL Server (Hostname)
      • Port
      • Database Name (Schema)
      • MySQL Username
      • MySQL Password
  2. The school must generate a SSH key pair.
    • Use the RSA algorithm to generate it
    • Store the key file somewhere accessible to TrackOne staff
    • Communicate the location of it to the TrackOne team
  3. School to send Schoolbox:
    • the public the .pub file
    • the external IP address of the TrackOne server for whitelisting
  4. TrackOne Staff will update the settings in the Learning Analytics Suite and run a manual sync to check that the sync works without errors.
